Women's Group goes from strength to strength
Just a few years ago, a group of women took their first steps into a world that many of us take for granted, the world of reading, writing and numeracy. With the foundations of such, now under their belts, these women are not just surviving but they are thriving. What began as a journey to gain basic skills has blossomed into a small yet powerful entrepreneurial initative, where they are creating and selling products to support their families and communities."
As their original mentor, Sr. Patricia, embarks on her new academic journey, the women are now being advised by Sr. Felister, who has brought new ideas and skills to the table. A most exciting development has been the introduction of liquid soap making. This practical skill has allowed the women to tap into a new market, creating products that are both useful and in demand. With each batch of soap they make, they’re not just building a business, they’re building confidence, financial independence and self esteem.
Through their products, they’re helping their families, inspiring their communities, and proving that with the right skills and support, anything is possible
