A new skill for the ladies
These ladies first joined the group unable to read, as most had never been to school. They began their learning journey with an intensive literacy and numeracy course, and with those new skills under their belts, they went on to develop a wide range of craft skills, some of which they have used to set up small enterprises
More recently, under the guidance of Elaine, a volunteer from Nottingham, they have added crochet to their growing list of talents.
