Support from Catholic Missionary Union
CMU recently held its annual meeting and Mass, attended by N4BW Chairman Andy Clark.
The Catholic Missionary Union acts as a bridge between the local Church in England and Wales and churches around the world, supporting their pastoral and theological development in close collaboration with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales. As the umbrella body for missionary societies and congregations — including priests, religious, and lay missionaries — CMU promotes the Church’s overseas mission among Catholics in England and Wales. One of its key roles is the coordination of annual parish mission appeals, which give parish communities the opportunity to hear directly from missionaries about their work and to engage more deeply in the global mission of the Church.
