Congratulations to Harry and Margret
Harry and Margret Makawa have celebrated their silver wedding starting with Fr Innocent leading a celebratory mass at Sitima Parish Church.
Harry Makawa is our 'man on the ground' and has been involved with N4BW for 8 years. Harry is well known for his green fingers and he joyfully teaches other villagers how to grow food for themselves through the creation of Kitchen gardens
Schools also benefit by his skills as every year on Tree Planting Day, each school collects around 200 trees that have been grown from seed, by Harry. These trees provide valuable shade around the schools as well as lots of fruit for the children to eat.
Thank you Harry for all you do for us.
