Thanks to AnaMalawi
As in UK, the pupils in schools across Malawi sit public exams during the period May to July. Standard 8 learners in primary schools take exams in June, the outcome of which will mean the difference in being selected to go onto secondary school or not
In most schools the learners bring their food and their bedding to school and for a couple of months before exams they "board" at school taking part in additional classes of an evening. However the natural light disappears at 6pm and candles are then traditionally used for study.
They now pass enormous thanks to AnaMalawi for their generosity in supplying the solar light system
In the words of one headteacher
I write to thank your friends, AnaMalawi, so much for the solar that has been fixed in standard 8.
The room has now lights. Leaners can now prepare for the examination effectively using the solar as you are aware that we conduct self boarding every year.
This will assist to improve the performance of the school.
God bless you all
God bless AnaMalawi
Thank you so much.
Send our Sincere gratitude.
We are blessed indeed.
