Our thanks to Fr Bernard

The aftermath of Cyclone Freddy saw many people homeless and very quickly Fr Bernard of Sitima Parish leapt into action using funds from N4BW and other donors to rebuild houses for the elderly and vulnerable.

The beneficiaries were selected by the small Christian communities as those being most in need of help.

Pictured, is the house most recently completed. The layout of the house has remained constant, with a small sitting room and two bedrooms; the kitchen and toilet being outside but slight improvements to the design have been made to recent house builds based on learning gained through the initial phase.

Our thanks go to Fr Bernard, Fr Owen and the parishioners of Sitima Parish for their ongoing support.
