Murals in church
Many thanks to Geraldine and Nigel Higgs who brightened up St Joseph’s Church in Sitima, with beautiful murals. They also used their artistic skills in painting educational charts in Chirunga School and colourful scenes on the outside walls of the newly built latrines at the clinic which is scheduled for opening in July 2020

Literacy group starts sewing
For the last couple of years, literacy lessons have been delivered by local volunteers to women in the community, most of whom have never attended school at all.

Ann is walking 1000 miles
Ann Haggin from Kendal is part way through a 1000 mile virtual walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats in aid of children’s education in Malawi.
