Network for a Better World was founded in 2012 by a group of twelve returned volunteers who decided from their experience of working in Africa that N4BW would offer the hand of friendship and a promise of partnership to some of the most marginalised people in our world today. We are currently based in the UK, and work overseas in Malawi to help fight poverty.

N4BW aims to be an instrument of peace and progress in a divided world.

Sitima, near Zomba in Malawi We identified this rural area of Southern Malawi. There was only limited input by larger agencies and governmental funders and the mainly subsistence faarmers were struggling to make a living after two seasons of drought. At this sort of grass roots level, our modest investment of time, energy and money could have a better chance of truly helping those that need it.

We offer our thanks to St Faith’s Church in Crosby, Liverpool for allowing us to erect and decorate a Christmas tree showing the work of N4BW in Malawi. What a wonderful way of sharing information

Our tree was one of many set up by all sorts of charities, portraying their work at home and abroad.

The church was warm and welcoming with lots of visitors, including school groups steadily going around each of the 32 trees

This beautiful Christmas Tree Festival remains open until 4pm on Saturday 4 December so if you are in the area please do go along, you won’t be disappointed.
