Christmas provides us with wonderful opportunity to share our thoughts and good wishes with others. In doing so the trustees of N4BW have so many people to thank but perhaps a key person is Fr Owen O’Donnell, the parish priest of Sitima who has been a tremendous friend to us ever since we started working in Malawi.
Doing the pandemic Fr Owen has been an invaluable support to N4BW. Amongst other things he has project managed the building of six classrooms, kept a watchful eye on the Irrigation Scheme and the Kitchen Garden Project, met with the prisoners sharing our gifts with them, and been a constant guide to us as we plan and deliver our work.
To Fr Owen we say “Zikomo kwambiri”
Throughout this last year we were invited to the Diocese of Leeds to speak to the parishioners at mass. Once again we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of those we met not just by the generous financial donations we received but by the very warm welcome in each and every parish visited. Thank you all so much.
We wish we could list all of you who have helped us in lots of different ways but this just isn’t possible so please accept our sincere thanks as we wish each and every one of you a very happy Christmas
